 There are places where holidays are not only on the calendar, but also in the soul.
 Where the smell of warm cake mixes with the smoke from the stove, where red eggs clash with joy,
 and "Christ is Risen!" is said from the heart.

 At Cabana Victor, we invite you to experience the true Easter, from Maundy Thursday to Monday or Tuesday, in a village in Maramures.
 where traditions are still alive.

 On Maundy Thursday, we prepare dishes with patience and skill, like in the old days.
 On the table we place offal, tender lamb, steamed sarmale, fresh trout from the trout farm, pasca (a type of meat stew) and homemade cozonaci (a type of bread).
 And in a place of honor stands the horinca, clear and loud, to warm the soul and good words.
 On Easter night we go together to the village church, dressed in peasant clothes, with a lit candle in our hand.
 and the emotion that connects us all. The silence of the night, the singing in the church and the light that is shared from person to person are moments
 who doesn't look.

 On Easter Day, the village zither players come to play for us. The sound of music, laughter, glasses clinking, and the cottage yard fills with
 life. It is the simple, pure joy of the Romanian village.
